Four people have been left injured after an active shooter situation at YouTube’s headquarters in San Bruno, California.

The suspect is a woman who is believed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot.

Police responded to multiple 911 calls at around midday Tuesday and rushed in to evacuate the entire building.

Employees of the social media giant described a chaotic and disorienting scene inside as people struggled to figure out what was happening and leave the building safely, according to the Washington Post.

YouTube’s owner Google said in a statement that it is coordinating with law enforcement authorities.

The San Bruno Police Department is urging people to avoid the area.

We’ll have more as it comes.
