Four people have been left injured after an active shooter situation at YouTube’s headquarters in San Bruno, California.
The suspect is a woman who is believed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot.
Police responded to multiple 911 calls at around midday Tuesday and rushed in to evacuate the entire building.
Employees of the social media giant described a chaotic and disorienting scene inside as people struggled to figure out what was happening and leave the building safely, according to the Washington Post.
Active shooter at YouTube HQ. Heard shots and saw people running while at my desk. Now barricaded inside a room with coworkers.

YouTube’s owner Google said in a statement that it is coordinating with law enforcement authorities.
The San Bruno Police Department is urging people to avoid the area.
I looked down and saw blood drips on the floor and stairs. Peaked around for threats and then we headed downstairs and out the front.
