Fox News host Sean Hannity is the mystery third client of US President Donald Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, a court has heard.

Just prior to Monday’s court hearing, Mr Cohen stated he had only provided three clients with legal advice over the past year, according to the BBC.

Aside from President Trump was a Republican fundraiser, who admitted he had an affair with a Playboy model after she became pregnant.

One of Mr Cohen’s lawyers was forced to reveal the name of his third client on the orders of a judge as part of legal proceedings against him, which involve allegations that he bribed adult film star Stormy Daniels on behalf of the US President to keep her quiet about an affair they had.

Mr Hannity, a staunch supporter of President Trump, denied being a client of Mr Cohen in a series of tweets.

Mr Cohen has admitted to paying Stormy Daniels $130,000 a little before the 2016 Presidential Election, but maintains that he acted without Mr Trump’s knowledge.
