Stormy Daniels has made a surprise appearance on the hit comedy show Saturday Night Live (SNL), warning US President Donald Trump that a storm is coming.
Ms Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, is suing Mr Trump and his former lawyer Michael Cohen over a non-disclosure agreement that she signed to keep quiet about an alleged affair with the President, and claims that Mr Cohen intimidated her.
Appearing alongside actor Alec Baldwin, who plays Donald Trump, the skit showed the two figures conversing via the phone.
When Baldwin, as Mr Trump, asks Ms Daniels what he can do “for this to all go away”, she replies: “A resignation.”
The joke was followed by a warning to the President of the United States as Ms Daniels said, “I know you don’t believe in climate change, but a storm’s a comin’, baby!”
“I solved North and South Korea, why can’t I solve us?” Baldwin, as Mr Trump, also asked.
Actor Ben Stiller also appeared in the skit as an FBI agent who was listening in on the phone conversation.
Last week, Mr Trump abruptly changed his narrative about the $150,000 payment to Ms Daniels by Mr Cohen, admitting to reimbursing his lawyer for the payment and saying that she was paid for “false and extortionist” claims.
